Rory A. Pfund, Ph.D.
Dr. Rory A. Pfund is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center whose research examines the effectiveness and personalization of psychological treatments for addiction. His work integrates randomized clinical trials, secondary data analyses, and meta-analyses to improve evidence-based treatment. He has authored more than 70 peer-reviewed publications, and he has received funding from the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA), the International Center for Responsible Gaming, and the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services. Dr. Pfund currently serves as n Consulting Editor for Psychology of Addictive Behaviors and an Associate Editor for the Journal of Gambling Studies.
